Located in Setagaya, Tokyo, Shōin Shrine is dedicated to the educator and thinker Yoshida Shoin. The grounds include a reconstruction of the Shoshimura Village School where he served as headmaster, as well as stone lanterns donated by those close to him. The shrine provides various blessings including protection from evil and success in examinations.
