Shinto shrines

春日神社

Located in Saitama Prefecture, Kasuga Shrine was established as a general guardian for several surrounding villages. The current shrine was formed in the early 20th century through the merger of two older shrines. While the main hall and stone lanterns were constructed after this merger, the grounds still contain three stone monuments dating back to the Edo period. These include a roofed structure with inscriptions from 1750 and two other towers built in 1712 and 1744.
