Arita Excavated Ceramic Museum (Arita-yaki Sankokan) opened in 1983 to display sherds from kiln sites as research and making references. Official town pages note a permanent selection of about 1,000 pieces from roughly 40 sites showing Arita ware from its beginnings to modern times, with updated interpretive panels, and access via a corridor from the East Building of the Arita History and Folklore Museum.
