Located in Ehime Prefecture, the Japanese Wax Museum & Kamihaga Residence is a former residence of a family central to local wax production. The site includes original facilities such as boiling houses and warehouses used for manufacturing. A dedicated exhibition building displays models of the production process and a selection of items designated as important tangible folk cultural properties related to regional wax making tools.
