The Aomori Museum of History is an exhibition facility in Aomori City that provides a comprehensive overview of local history and folklore. The museum features permanent exhibitions including the Tsugaru Strait and Surrounding Areas Mudamahagi-type Fishing Boat Collection, which is a national designated important tangible folk cultural property, and various types of Sashiko clothing. An observation deck at the facility offers views of Aomori City, Mutsu Bay, the Tsugaru Peninsula, and the Shimokita Peninsula.
