Umanosuke Shrine

Umanosuke Shrine in the Shimanto area enshrines the spirit of Umanosuke, a seven-year-old child abandoned in the Uchii Valley according to shrine tradition. People now pray for children's safety, recovery from illness, and children. The shrine was aging and underwent rebuilding; official pages previously noted completion around May Reiwa 6.
