香雪美術館

Kosetsu Museum of Art in Kobe’s Mikage area presents Japanese and East Asian antiquities collected by Asahi Shimbun founder Ryuhei Murayama and his successor Choseki Murayama. Official materials say the museum was established in Showa 47 (1972) and later became a public-interest foundation to secure its mission. Holdings range from Buddhist art and calligraphy to early-modern painting, tea utensils, lacquerware, and arms, alongside historic modern architecture on the site.
