Located on Mount Rokko in Kobe, Hyogo, this historic site was designed by architect Tadao Ando and completed in 1986. It is noted for its exposed concrete structure, a rectangular tower, and a colonnade space with semi-transparent glass. The building was influenced by the Sénanque Abbey in Provence. Public viewing of the interior is available during specific periods when it serves as an exhibition venue.
