Midorigaoka Cemetery

Midorigaoka Cemetery is a Kawasaki municipal cemetery where predecessors who built Kawasaki City rest. It lies in northwestern Kawasaki on the eastern edge of the Tama Hills, along the ridge between JR Nambu Line Tsudayama and Kuji stations. Hundreds of cherry trees planted on the grounds bloom in spring. Besides ordinary grave plots, the cemetery maintains collective burial graves that hold many sets of remains in one tomb. A dedicated facility also temporarily stores cremated remains until a grave is arranged. The cemetery address is 1241 Shimosakunobe, Takatsu-ku, Kawasaki, Kanagawa.
