Sarutahiko Shrine

猿田彦神社

Located in Mie Prefecture, Sarutahiko Shrine is dedicated to Sarutahiko Okami, the deity of guidance. According to the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, this deity guided the heavenly descendants to the land and led them to their base at the upper reaches of the Isuzugawa River.
