昆陽池公園

Located in Hyogo Prefecture, Koyaike Park is a garden and oasis for wild birds. Originally an agricultural pond constructed during the Nara period, it was developed into its current form as a park in the 1960s. The site covers 27.8 hectares and serves as a significant destination for migratory birds, including many waterfowl that arrive from autumn to winter. A central feature of the natural pond is an island modeled after the Japanese archipelago.
