Former Daijō-in Temple Garden

旧大乗院庭園

The Former Daijo-in Temple Garden south of Nara Hotel is a nationally designated scenic garden linked to a monzeki temple founded in 1087. Official pages list garden hours 9:00–17:00, closed Mondays (next day when Monday is a holiday), the day after holidays, and 26 December through 5 January. Adult admission is 200 yen. The garden culture center has been suspended from April 2026, while garden entry continues via the culture-center entrance. Confirm hours before you visit.
