Hikone Castle Museum presents treasures of the Ii family, hereditary Tokugawa daimyo of Hikone, through permanent and special exhibitions of swords, Noh masks, and other heirlooms. Official pages list hours 8:30–17:00 with last entry at 16:30 and current programs such as Ii heirloom blades (24 July–14 September 2026) and Tenkaichi Noh-mask carvers (18 June–20 July 2026).
