Byodo-in Museum Hoshokan

平等院鳳翔館

Located in Kyoto Prefecture, Byodo-in Museum Hoshokan is a registered museum and the first comprehensive museum operated by a religious corporation. The facility features advanced equipment to preserve its collection, which includes National Treasures such as one large bell, two phoenixes, and 26 Kannon statues. The building's design incorporates underground structures to harmonize with the surrounding garden while utilizing large glass wall cases and intentional lighting for display.
