Kyūseki Teien is a garden site in Nara City containing remains of an ancient pond and structures from the Nara period. Discovered during excavations in 1975, the S-shaped pond was constructed using large and small stones. The site is recognized for its historical value as a potential imperial villa or residence of royalty. It holds the rare distinction of being designated as both a Special Historic Site and a Special Scenic Spot.
