Yamate 8-Bankan

山手八番館

Located in Hyogo Prefecture, Yamate 8-Bankan is a museum housed in a Tudor-style Western mansion built in the late Meiji period. The building features distinctive half-timbered architecture and a series of protruding windows facing the sea. The interior displays a diverse collection of artworks, including sculptures by Rodin, various Western prints, and Buddhist sculptures from regions such as Gandhara and Thailand.
