宮城県美術館

The Miyagi Museum of Art opened in November 1981, with the Sato Churyo Gallery added in June 1990. Official English materials say its collection features post-Meiji contemporary art, works linked to Miyagi and Tohoku, overseas artists such as Kandinsky and Klee, and postwar Japanese picture-book originals, plus Visible Storage and about four to five special exhibitions each year.
