Shukugawa Park

夙川公園

Shukugawa Park, officially Shukugawa riverside green space in Nishinomiya, is a roughly 18-hectare urban park along about four kilometers of river with 2.8 kilometers of cherry plantings. Official pages recall 1,000 cherries planted in 1949, a 1951 city-planning designation that conserved riverside pines, selection among Japan's 100 famous cherry spots in 1990, and later historic-park and historic-landscape recognitions.
