Alps Azumino National Government Park spans Horigane-Hotaka and Omachi-Matsukawa districts at the foot of the Northern Alps in Nagano Prefecture. Official Horigane-Hotaka visitor pages list park hours from 9:30 to 17:00 between 1 March and 31 October, and from 9:30 to 16:00 between 1 November and the end of February, with Monday closures and year-end holidays on 31 December and 1 January. Day admission for adults aged 15 and older is 450 yen, and for visitors aged 65 and older is 210 yen; elementary and junior-high students and preschool children enter free.
