Located within the castle grounds in Wakayama Prefecture, this early Edo period daimyo garden utilizes the steep slopes of Mount Kobushi. The landscape features a pond stroll style design with a large pond representing a moat and various rock arrangements. Known as Momijike Garden due to its impressive autumn foliage, it was designated as a national scenic spot in 1980. The area served as a place for refined leisure during the Edo period.
