Sakitama Shrine

前玉神社

Located in Hanyu City, Saitama Prefecture, Sakitama Shrine is situated adjacent to the Sakitama Kofun Group. The shrine is built upon a mound known as Asamazuka, which measures approximately 8.7 meters in height and has a circumference of about 92 meters. The enshrined deities are Sakitamahiko-no-mikoto and Sakitamahime-no-mikoto, who are revered for protecting people and bringing happiness.
