Shinto shrines

武蔵第六天神社

Located in Saitama Prefecture, Musashi Dairokuten Shrine was established in 1782. Historically, the shrine's talismans were sought by farmers for bountiful harvests and by merchants for prosperous business. The grounds feature a sacred tree that visitors touch to pray for success in examinations. The site also features traditional practices such as using broken pottery to ward off misfortune and offering hand-written wooden plaques associated with Tengu figures to provide protection against fire, theft, and disease.
