Itakiso Shrine

伊太祁曽神社

Located in Wakayama Prefecture, Itakiso Shrine is dedicated to the deity Itakeru no Mikoto, who is revered as a deity of trees and associated with planting trees across the country. The shrine also honors Ohyabiko no Kami, a deity associated with protection against disasters and prayers for recovery from illness. The grounds include the main hall and a right hall, which received roof replacements in 2010.
