Isehara Daijingu

Shinto shrines

伊勢原大神宮

Isehara Daijingu is a shrine in Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, presented on its official site as the grove where the place name Isehara originated. Its symbol mark expresses the inner and outer shrines and prayers for matchmaking, marital harmony, children, and all-around fulfillment. For the 400th anniversary of its founding, the shrine created a mosaic from about 5,000 photos of shrine events forming the sun and Uji Bridge seen through the first torii of Ise Jingu's inner shrine.
