仁川百合野町地すべり資料館

Nigawa-Yurino-cho Landslide Museum documents the large landslide triggered by the 1995 Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. Prefectural materials say the slide measured about 100 m wide and long and 15 m deep, destroyed 13 houses, and claimed 34 lives. The museum opened in November 1997 to explain the damage, later countermeasures, monitoring data, and sediment-disaster mechanisms, and was renovated and reopened on 17 January 2015 for the quake’s 20th anniversary.
