Nakaoyama Kofun is an octagonal, three-tier tumulus just north of Takamatsuzuka Kofun in Asuka, known for refined cremation burial construction. Official Asuka Park pages place it a short walk from Asuka Station or the Takamatsuzuka bus stop. The nearby National Asuka Historical Park Museum is closed for renovation from 1 April 2026 until around 2030. Confirm access information before you visit.
