Museum Nakasendō

ミュージアム中仙道

Museum Nakasendō in Mizunami, Gifu Prefecture, calls itself a museum of the Japanese spirit and divides its collection into four rooms: kabuki materials, ceramics, paintings, and arms and armor. It has a second-floor multipurpose hall with a stage, artist solo-exhibition rooms, and an on-site restaurant. Hours are 9:00-17:00 with last entry at 16:30. Admission is 300 yen for adults; junior-high students and younger enter free. It is closed Mondays, the day after a Monday holiday, and over New Year. Parking holds about 70 cars at 331 Togari, Asebi-cho, Mizunami.
