Gunze Museum

グンゼ博物苑

Located in Ayabe City, Kyoto Prefecture, the Gunze Museum opened in 1996 to commemorate the company's 100th anniversary. The museum is housed in a renovated cocoon warehouse from the Taisho era and serves as an industrial technology history museum. It features three exhibition warehouses—Sōgyō-gura, Gendai-gura, and Mirai-gura—which showcase the history of the company. The site also includes a garden containing various mulberry varieties related to the silk reeling industry.
