Located in Yamaguchi Prefecture, the Shimonoseki Memorial Museum of Modern Forerunners is also known as the Kinuyo Tanaka Culture Hall. The building originally served as the Shimonoseki Telegraph and Telephone Office of the former Ministry of Communications. Constructed in 1924, it features characteristics of the Separated Architectural style. The facility was preserved and renovated to honor various literary figures from Shimonoseki, including Kinuyo Tanaka, while serving as a space for cultural exchange.
