Hakodate Museum of Kahei Takadaya

箱館高田屋嘉兵衛資料館

Located in Hokkaido, the Hakodate Museum of Kahei Takadaya is situated on the former site of the Takadaya shipyard. The museum displays approximately 500 historical items related to Kitamaebune ships, including models and ancient documents detailing the life of Kahei Takadaya. The facility consists of two buildings; the first building is constructed from ballast used for balancing ships.
