Shimofuda Site in Chofu, Tokyo, is described by the city as a nationally designated historic site at Futaba 6-chome on the left bank of the middle Tama River, spanning the edge of the Tachikawa terrace and the river lowland. Official text notes that fields remain nearby and that the Kokubunji cliff-line trees and terrace landforms are well preserved. It also records small academic surveys from Showa 39 through Showa 46.
