Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is a large garden spanning the Shinjuku and Shibuya wards in Tokyo. The grounds cover an expansive area of 58.3 hectares, which is approximately 145 acres. The park features around 10,000 trees across its landscape. It was rebuilt after being damaged during World War II air raids and officially opened to the public as a national garden in 1949.
