Osaki Hachiman Shrine

大崎八幡宮

Osaki Hachiman Shrine is a Shinto shrine in Sendai established at its present site under Date Masamune. Its richly decorated main sanctuary is a major example of Momoyama-period architecture and is designated a National Treasure as an early surviving example of the gongen-zukuri style.
