Nakanoshima

Located in Osaka, Nakanoshima is an area rich in water and greenery where administrative, economic, and cultural facilities are concentrated. Situated between the Dojima River and Tosabori River, this district features a variety of convention centers, international cultural facilities, offices, and commercial buildings. Historically, it served as a center for trading goods like rice during the Edo period. Recent developments include the opening of the Nakanoshima Line in 2008 to enhance its functionality as a central area.
