Mt. Moiwa

藻岩山

Mount Moiwa is a 531-meter mountain southwest of central Sapporo. A ropeway and mini cable car reach an observation deck near the summit, which overlooks the city grid, Ishikari Plain, and surrounding mountains. The wooded slopes are home to varied plants and wildlife, while the broad evening view has made the summit one of Sapporo’s best-known night-view locations.
