Kazuemachi Chaya District is one of the three traditional teahouse districts in Kanazawa, alongside Higashi Chaya and Nishi Chaya. The area features narrow alleys lined with latticework facades that preserve a traditional atmosphere. It has been designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Named after a residence from the Edo period, the district is home to traditional ryokans and teahouses located along the Asanogawa River.
