豊平峡ダム

Hoheikyo Dam is a 102.5-meter-high concrete arch dam in the mountains southwest of Sapporo. Completed in 1972 on the Toyohira River system, it supports flood control, water supply, and hydroelectric power generation. The dam lies within Shikotsu-Toya National Park, where steep forested slopes surround the reservoir and create a well-known autumn landscape.
