羅臼町郷土資料館

Rausu Municipal Museum stands in a town within the Shiretoko World Natural Heritage area. Town materials say it reopened in December 2011 by reusing the former Ueibetsu elementary and junior high school building, which closed after 106 years in March 2010. Highlights include Important Cultural Properties from the Matsunorikawa north bank site representing Okhotsk culture, plus exhibits related to local luminous moss.
