Yōjirō Ishizaka Literature Memorial Museum

石坂洋次郎文学記念館

Located in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture, the Yōjirō Ishizaka Literature Memorial Museum is dedicated to the writer who spent thirteen years as a teacher in the area starting in 1920. The museum building was designed to evoke the atmosphere of traditional townhouses and storehouses from the early Showa period. Inside, the facility displays materials related to his life as both a teacher and an author during his time in Yokote.
