Okaya Art and Archaeological Museum at Chuo-cho 1-9-8, Okaya City, Nagano Prefecture (postal code 394-0027; telephone 0266-22-5854) exhibits local fine art and archaeological finds from Jomon through Heian periods after its relocation to Dougakan Street. Official visitor pages list hours from 10:00 to 18:00 with last entry by 17:30. Regular admission is 420 yen for high-school students and older and 180 yen for elementary and junior-high students. Closed on Wednesdays, the day after public holidays, and from 29 December to 3 January, with additional temporary closures; the museum announced a temporary closure from 12 to 14 July 2026.
