Anan City Awa-kubou and Folklore Museum

阿南市立阿波公方・民俗資料館

Located in Anan City, this museum was built on the former site of the Heijima mansion. The area is associated with the Awa-kubo and served as a residence for figures related to the Ashikaga family. The grounds preserve gravestones of successive Awa-kubo, including the 10th and 14th Shoguns of the Muromachi period, while maintaining local folklore and traditions.
