Japan Ukiyo-e Museum at Shinkiri 2206-1, Shimadachi, Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture (postal code 390-0852; telephone 0263-47-4440) presents historic Japanese woodblock prints. Official visitor pages list hours from 10:00 to 17:00 with last entry at 16:30. Admission is 1000 yen for adults and 500 yen for junior-high, high-school, and university students, with free entry for elementary-school children and younger; a 100 yen discount applies for groups of 20 or more, visitors with disability certificates, and seniors aged 60 and older. Closed on Mondays except public holidays (then closed the following day) and during year-end and New Year holidays. A 2026 exhibition on water in Edo life runs from 24 June to 13 September.
