Shinkawa-daijingū

新川大神宮

Shinkawa-daijingū in Tokyo was founded in 1625 during the Kanei era and is widely revered on its official site as the guardian deity of sake wholesalers. Since 2019 the shrine has revived the traditional Taru-sake Festival, selling measured casks of descending sake for year-end work completion and New Year, a Shinkawa seasonal custom dating to the Edo period.
