Located in Kagawa Prefecture, Chichu Art Museum was constructed in 2004 to explore the relationship between nature and people. The building is designed by Tadao Ando and situated mostly underground to preserve the surrounding scenery of the Seto Inland Sea. It features permanent works by artists such as Claude Monet, James Turrell, and Walter De Maria, while utilizing natural light that changes throughout the day and seasons.
