Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art presents special and collection exhibitions spanning lacquer, Kutani porcelain, Japanese painting, and crafts. Official pages currently feature “Wajima-nuri: Passing Lacquer Culture On” (27 June–2 August 2026), collection displays of old and revived Kutani ware, 1950s Nihonga, and craft works for families, with further programs on Rinpa and Haibara paper arts scheduled from August 2026.
