Museum Tsuru in Tsuru City, Yamanashi, opened in April 1999 (Heisei 11) as a museum of the former castle town’s history, including Hassaku Festival floats. Hours are 9:00–16:30 (last entry 16:00), with free admission. Closed Mondays, the day after holidays, the third Tuesday each month for housekeeping, and from December 29 to January 3. Confirm special-exhibition fees before you visit.
