Located in Sannocho, Nara Prefecture, Tatsuta Shrine is a Shinto shrine associated with the deity of wind. The site has a long history, with records suggesting its founding approximately 2,100 years ago during the era of Emperor Sujin. The shrine uses the double maple as its emblem to represent the spread of pure energy in all directions. Various annual events are held throughout the year, including festivals for bountiful harvests and wind calming.
