Located in Tokyo, the Omori Nori Museum opened in 2008 as a center for preserving and creating local culture related to seaweed production. The museum displays approximately 150 items of historical significance, including 881 pieces of seaweed production tools designated as important tangible folk cultural properties. These materials represent the history of seaweed cultivation in the Ota City coastal area.
