Museum of Furuta Oribe

古田織部美術館

Located in Kyoto, the Museum of Furuta Oribe features tea utensils favored by Furuta Oribe. He was a warrior and tea practitioner who led the tea ceremony scene during the late Momoyama period after the death of Sen no Rikyu. The museum holds twice-yearly exhibitions showcasing these items, which reflect his unique aesthetic sense.
