Saga Toriimoto Town Preservation Center

京都市嵯峨鳥居本町並み保存館

Located in the Saga Toriimoto Traditional Buildings Preservation District in Kyoto, this preservation center is situated along a walking tour route from Arashiyama. The building itself was constructed in the early Meiji era and has been renovated to allow visitors to experience traditional architecture of the area. The facility also displays a detailed model of the Atago Kaido streetscape as it appeared in the early Showa period.
